One night, in order to flee the stressors that plagued me, I took a long walk deep into the night. I wandered aimlessly until I felt as though my real life was behind me and I sat down to stare at the sky and ponder. My isolation was short lived though as this frog came up, croaked once, and joined me in quiet thought. I stayed in that spot for more than an hour and that frog remained with me the entire time. Before I left, I decided to take a picture of my companion and it was happy to let me. More than for any of my other photos, it matters to me to say that this photo is not edited or even zoomed in, the frog just let me lay down next to it and capture this moment with it.
